Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although clean and comfortable, was in desperate need of modernizing especially for a ground floor room. The service was okay; housekeeping was efficient, but there was no laundry or shuttle service available. The location was amazing, being ideal for a walk to restaurants and bars, although it wasn't very crowded during my stay. The dining, with a full kitchen provided, made sense, and the vegetarian couscous was delicious.
The hotel's rooms were in desperate need of modernizing, with outdated kitchen utilities from the 1970s that don't justify the high nightly price. On the bright side, the fully stocked utensils and apartment-sized appliances were practical for longer stays. The service was mediocre, with issues in housekeeping and laundry services. The location, however, was a significant upside, being walking distance to downtown Calistoga, great restaurants, shopping, and wine clubs. The dining experience, thanks to the provided full kitchen and gluten-free options, added value. While the facilities lacked modern touches, the pleasant neighborhood environment and cooking gatherings compensated for it.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with its rooms needing serious updates despite being clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Calistoga but can be impacted by power outages. The dining options make sense with a full kitchen provided, but the overall facilities may not meet modern expectations.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Calistoga, making it easy to access restaurants, bars, markets, wine tasting, and spa activities. The rooms are very worn and dated but perfectly clean. The service is top-notch with excellent housekeeping and a complimentary shuttle service. However, the lack of power during my stay was a significant inconvenience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The rooms were clean, spacious, and lacked any chemical smell, which was great. However, they felt outdated with old-fashioned kitchen utilities from the 1970s, not justifying the high price per night. The location was convenient for exploring the downtown area on foot but lacked some modern amenities.
I found the hotel to be a pleasant stay with clean and comfortable rooms. The 70's throwback style was nostalgic but well-maintained. The availability of a kitchen was convenient for those wanting to cook or avoid dining out at nearby restaurants. However, the outdated kitchen utilities and high prices can be off-putting.
